Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in your PT packages?
Dependant on what package you go for determines what is included! In person clients and online coaching clients will get weekly check ins, 24/7 contact to me, form checks when they need as well as a personalised workout programme and an account on my coaching app. Calories and protein targets can also be set if you wish to look at nutrition and I will also set you lifestyle habits such as water and step goals to ensure you are looking after yourself as a whole. Programme only clients will get all of the above minus the contact, check ins and form checks!
How much do your packages cost?
In person and online coaching services are billed on a 4 weekly direct debit whereas fitness pledge programmes are billed per programme and have 4, 6 and 8 week options. For a full list of prices check the services page on this website!
Can you help me with nutrition?
As I am only a L2 qualified fitness instructor and a L3 qualified personal trainer I cannot offer meal plans as a dietician would however I am able to set your calories and macros for you to help speed up the process of you achieving your fitness goals. I can also give inspiration for high protein meals to help you hit your calories and macros which will soon be accessible in the clients hub!
How long will it take before I start to see physical results?
This is all down to you as a client! If you are willing to put in the work and follow the sessions I programme you and stick to your set macros and calories consistently, I have had previous clients see noticeable results within 2 to 3 months! As much as I can motivate you and hold you accountable, unless you are willing to put in the work the physical results won’t come.
What if I have an injury, medical condition or PCOS/endometriosis? Can I still work with you?
I can modify exercises to accommodate most injuries or conditions, however I will need you to fill in your PAR-Q (Physical activity readiness form) first and be cleared by a doctor prior to exercise. In terms of conditions such as PCOS or endometriosis, I have completed a course all about womens hormonal health and care so have adequate knowledge on how to adapt exercise and nutrition to clients needs with these conditions.
Where do in person sessions take place?
Any in person 1-1 or 2-1 PT clients will have their sessions take place at Puregym Exeter Fore Street and all clients will need a Puregym membership for these sessions to occur!
What is the in person session cancellation policy?
I try to ask that if any in person clients need to cancel their sessions if they can give 24 hours notice. I appreciate that sometimes emergencies happen and therefore I can give the benefit of the doubt from time to time but if sessions are not cancelled in line with the cancellation policy 3 times or more, that session will be counted as a missed session and will be charged. If a client is more than 15 minutes late to a session and has not messaged to say they are on their way, this will also be counted as a missed session and will be charged.
What sort of clients do you help clients achieve?
I help women achieve a variety of different fitness and lifestyle goals. The majority of my clients come to me with little to no strength training experience and having only ever done cardio before. I aim to build confidence and consistency in those new to the gym environment or feeling slightly anxious in the gym. I also help women build muscle and lose fat, undergoing body recompositions and I also have a few clients training for half marathons and Hyrox’s which I help get race day ready. Whatever your goal is, I am here to help you! :)
What if I am not comfortable training in a gym environment?
I am able to offer online clients training programmes which can be done at home with minimal workout equipment. I am all about making exercise adaptable to the individual and their lifestyle!
Are your personal training services suitable for all ages?
My PT packages are available for women of all ages! I have clients who range from as young as 16 to 60 and am able to adapt your workout programme to your ability! All I ask is for ladies wanting to work with me to be a minimum of 16 Years old.
How will I track my progress?
In terms of training progress, all reps and weights will be tracked on your app account under the workout you are completing. This history will all be saved on the app so that when you next complete that workout, you have access to weights previously lifted meaning you are able to progressively overload and keep getting stronger. In terms of physical progress, I get my clients to weigh in weekly as well as take progress pictures if they feel comfortable from front, side and back views. This way we have many ways of tracking progress to avoid getting hyper fixated on the scale weight.
